MidTerm

To capture the reflection of the trees of the woods I was standing in was my motive. I didn’t feel the need to edit the photo much more then bringing out the clarity to really show off the trees in the reflection. No cropping was used on this photo.

The snow was melting and the elements where beginning to show again, as it was getting chilly again. I love to capture icicles because water freezing as it melts is awesome. (Science) I flipped the photo to add a different prospective and too add to the idea that water can freezing at any angle. I had to darken the highlights so the light was not over whelming. Also I used the patching tool to soften the bleached out upper left hand side of the photo.

I really liked the rhythm of circles this photo brought to the table. I turned the photo 180 degrees to boggle the mind to turn a simple photo into a thinker. I used the healing brush tool to clean up most of the dirt that was left behind by happy children playing. As always kicked up the clarity to really bring out the reflections of the dimples on the plastic.

This photo seems simple but really means a lot to me. Even though metal rusts in the elements it shows that things will decay and waste away, much like memories do. I tried to capture two friends or lovers having a drink talking about a problem or just relaxing for a few moments. Clarity was used to bring out the age in the wood and the bottle caps. Not much more editing was need for this photo.

This photo maybe my favorite. I didn't Photoshop this photo at all, it was all enhanced in ACR. I turned up the temperature in to the photo to make it so it was like a sunny day not a cold one. Most of all clarity really helped this picture become what is came out to be.
